Future of U.S. Foreign Policy in the Middle East

Part 1: Due July 26, 2020 12pm EST (I need to submit the annotated bibliography on this date) Create an annotated bibliography for this strategy paper. Each annotation should do two things: summarize the argument in the source you have chosen and explain how this source will be relevant to your project. The length of the annotation depends entirely on how long it takes you to say these two things; a two-sentence annotation that accomplishes both tasks is fine, and a longer annotation is also acceptable.You should have a minimum of 5 annotated sources, of which at least 2 must be from scholarly books or journals. Part 2: Due August 6, 2020 12pm EST In this paper, you will construct a regional strategy for the U.S. in the Middle East. This strategy should do each of the following: -outline three or four challenges the U.S. faces currently or will face in the future. -Present at least two strategic options for the U.S. moving forward, including the strengths and weaknesses of each strategic option. -select the option that you believe best fits with U.S. values, interests and capabilities in the region.
