Description

The lab exercise is to write a two page paper on why a human cell is like a small city. For example the nucleus is a massive database or library. A mitochondria is a power plant; Microtubules are interstate highways: ribosomes are manufacturing plants, lysosomes are used for waste treatment, etc.
