Description

This is a personal statement to get into a university . Alittle about my background I am a 25 year old African American women who was born and raised in south east Washington DC. I went away to attend Cheyney University and stayed for 1 year and a half. I moved back to dc because of family needs. I stayed in dc and didn’t return to school. A few years later I had a son and got a job working at a school. I am now ready to get back in school so that I can continue to show my son what Resilience looks like and continue to create a better life for him.
