Post harvest disease management

Describe optimum conditions for ideal preharvest and postharvest handling. Describe the challenges, limiting factors, etc. for maintaining quality and minimizing losses. Guidelines: This paper should be prepared as a draft for a publication to potentially be used by growers, extension workers, buyers, or others. Paper should be 5-7 typed double spaced pages in length. More is not necessarily better, but if it needs to be longer to properly cover the subject that is acceptable. Please provide appropriate subject headings and subtitles. Paper must be typed and submitted via email. At least 5 hard copy references (in addition to web references) are required. At least two references should be from a scientific journal.
