The US political environment could be at an all-time high for vitriol partisan politics. While we have learned that PEOPLE try to maximize Utility, BUSINESS tries to maximize PROFIT, and POLITICIANS try to maximize VOTES, how do we know what is best for our ECONOMY. Explain how government policies affect the standard of living. You should define how the standard of living is figured and give specific examples of how government policies and actions have helped or hurt our standard of living.
