Students are required to write a paper on the compensation of U.S. executives working for U.S. publically traded companies and answer the following questions:
What is the average salary of an American C.E.O.?
How many more time times is the average pay of a C.E.O. vs. an average worker?
Do you believe this is too high, too low or it’s up to the company? Why?
Should executive pay be regulated by Congress? Why or why not?
All papers must use a minimum of 2 sources, one pro and one con. The textbook does not count toward the minimum.
Two Page Minimum and Maximum.
Title page and reference pages are required. However, they do not count towards any page count.
Writing should reflect an understanding of the basic concepts, thorough research, and logic and critical thinking skills.
The introduction is attention-getting with sufficient background information to establish the topic and a clear thesis statement.
The conclusion summarizes the main points and leaves the reader with a strong comprehension of the paper’s significance and the author’s understanding and laying out the student’s position on the original ethical question.
