Preparing the Proposal, Travel Study in Art/Photograph

Carefully following the guidelines below, submit your comprehensive proposal in either PDF, DOC, or DOCX format. I would prefer one continuous document but will accept multiple docs if necessary.

What to Submit?

Written proposal that includes the following:

Title/Page: Name of the project. Name/address/phone numbers/email address of the student, major/minor, travel location, date.
Theme: This introduction should comprehensively describe what the theme is about in great detail. Support material (drawings, sketches, preliminary research documentation) are strongly recommended.
Project Goals: Describe in detail what the final body of work “might” look like or be about.
Project Materials: Nature and quantity of materials expected to be used to complete this project.
Timetable: Dates, schedules that identifies past/current/projected progress of project.
Project Resources: Actual names of other artists, works and additional factors that will influence the project.
Estimated Cost: Costs of materials necessary to complete the project.

As you know if you’ve read the syllabus, this proposal should evolve into a culminating, 10-paged, comprehensive paper as well as a body of work that can be exhibited. Read the Course Description carefully in your Syllabus.
