Just a few suggestions: The abstract should follow the components of the paper. It seems to just focus on the introduction or background now. In the introduction: lead with your overview of your topic area (overtreatment); start broad and then narrow. The background section should focus on the current literature and find the gaps. Your paper is designed to answer these gaps- end the background section with your purpose statement. The background needs more content. Methods section has material that should be in introduction or background. Methods should only describe how you searched and “your” study–the procedures in how you carried out your work. I do not see your results section or discussion section. These must be included to receive credit for these sections.
